It took about 25 minutes. It is brand new. I also think the control valve may be good because of short time it was in service. I will not give a guarantee because cannot.

These parts are from my one year old residential 40 gal gas water heater. I do o know therefore am selling these parts as is. I am not a repair man but think the burner would be good because my problem was lighting pilot. Therefore I am left with my one year old parts.

They are raucously expensive. I called AQ Smith and after a lot OD turmoil they agreed to send me EVERYTHING. What happened is that my heater would not light the pilot. It could be there was a spider in the lines or slight clog.

I replaced the burner assembly and control valve. I will gladly answer questions.
